TOAT Photography & Videography (“TOAT”, “we”, “us”) is a photography and videography business based in Chicago, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through toat-us.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, event date, location, the package you choose and any notes about your shoot.
When you sign our Client Service Agreement, we keep a copy of the signed agreement, along with the date and time you signed it and the IP address it was signed from.
When you pay a retainer or balance, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
We also collect basic information about how visitors use the site through Google Analytics, such as pages visited, approximate location at city level, device and browser type. This uses cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to manage your booking, communicate with you about your shoot, deliver your photos and videos, take payments, and improve the website. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share information with services that help us run the business:
- Stripe — payments
- Brevo — sending email
- Google Analytics — website statistics
- WeTransfer — delivering your files
- Vimeo and Google Maps — content embedded on the site
- Hostinger — our website host
Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Your photos
Images from your shoot may appear in our portfolio or on social media only as set out in your signed agreement. Consent for this is optional and is given by ticking a box when you sign. If you would like an image removed, email us and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records, signed agreements and payment records for as long as needed for the booking and for legal and tax purposes. Delivered galleries remain available for 90 days from delivery. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except where we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@toat-us.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
